Indofin is thrilled to be a part of this year’s Austin Batfest in the local tradition’s 7th year. Where else could you see 1.5 million Mexican bats and a bunch of cool bands? The event will take place as always on the Ann Richards Bridge on South Congress and its going on all day from 12pm-11pm. Saturday August 27 2011. We will be playing on the 101X Stage from 430p-530p on Saturday August 27, 2011. ADMISSION IS FREE! More details below:

Bats are unpredictable creatures but usually start flying between 7:30 – 9:30. Flight can last about 1/2 hour.
Batfest!, Will feature Arts, Crafts, Music, Food, Bat Watching, Children’s Activities, and Educational Displays. Estimated attendance is around 40,000! Enjoy the scenic backdrop of Lady Bird Lake and downtown Austin, as up to 2 million Mexican Free Tail Bats emerge for their nightly flight. Shop for creative items made in Austin, Texas, and the world. See over 20 bands on two stages. All for FREE!
All professional Artists and Craftspeople are invited to participate in Batfest!… Approximately 150 Booths will be set up in the Festival Area located on the Ann Richards Congress Avenue Bridge in downtown Austin. The booths will feature Arts & Crafts such as pottery, jewelry, fine art, woodwork, stained glass, metal sculpture, mosaics, glasswork, photography and much more.This area is well know for its eclectic night life (no joke intended) as well as it’s proximity to downtown and to the more relaxed South Austin (78704 to those who know).
